Mexx Canada is currently recruiting for the following position: Store Manager

Position Summary:

Reporting to the District Sales Manager/Area Sales Manager, the Store Manager function is to manage all personnel, product and visual merchandising directives. The Store Manager must ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, business processes, and is accountable for maximizing store sales and key performance indicators (KPI) results. The Store Manager needs to build a strong team by providing necessary training and development opportunities that will increase employee productivity and develop each employee to their full potential.

Job requirements:

  • Proven sales experience (minimum 3 years); Results-driven;
  • Experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar position is mandatory;
  • Team management experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Retail Industry; Love of fashion and trends;
  • Management experience; Professionalism; Strong leadership to inspire the team;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships;
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment;
  • Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities;

Take it Outside is an active lifestyle retail store specializing in products help you look great and feel great but also perform well when needed. We have a wide selection of travel apparel, casual apparel as well as outdoor technical items.  Our sales team is dedicated to helping our customers in find the perfect pieces for yoga, running, walking, hiking, traveling, adventure or relaxing on a beach.

We are seeking a sales professional who is available to work days, evenings and weekends.  If you have sales experience, like working with clothing/footwear, enjoy working with the public and have experience with POS computer systems we may have a position for you.
